PROFILE SUMMARY


I am a senior Media Arts and Sciences major at Wellesley College. This is an interdisciplinary major which focuses on the intersection between studio art and computer science. My concentration is in studio art and I am currently pursuing an Honors Thesis in video production and animation. I am also the House President of Beebe Hall and captain of the varsity Swim and Dive team.

WORK EXPERIENCE


House President, Beebe Hall, Wellesley
Summer 2020- Present

Manager, supporter, and mentor of Resident Assistants (RAs). Curate engaging community and take ownership over residents’ holistic wellness. Coordinate community engagement hours and other operational tasks. Lead weekly staff meetings, one-on-ones with RAs, and House meetings. Collaborate with House Presidents Council to generate creatove solutions to navigating the COVID-19 pandemic on campus. As a former RA, received training in responding to emergencies, arbitrating interpersonal disputes and developing intercultural awareness.

ID Tech Virtual Animation Instructor
Summer 2020

Designed an engaging curriculum that teaches students how to use Adobe Photoshop, Animate and Premiere to realize their creative projects. Developed a classroom community that facilitates each child’s learning. Created a culture of collaboration and respectul feedback among classmates. Focused expressly on catering to consumer experience by applying feedback from weekly evaluations by parents, students, and supervisors.

Wellesley College Researcher
Summer 2019

Conducted research for Peter Mawhorter’s, PhD, study exploring colonialism within video games. We performed code analysis of Minecraft with the purpose of locatong the original source of the colonialist mindset within the game. I also conducted an independent learning experience, in which I researched 3D modeling for video game design. My research culminated in an underwater simulation, which I created using Unity 3D.
